The oldest and probably most famous National Park in the Nord East of Tanzania was already founded in 1951. The second biggest park of the continent is the heart of huge ecosystem which has  nowhere in the world any comparably species-rich animal kingdom.  Therefore attracts this place of superlatives more than 100.000 tourists per annum. Endless grassland and acacia bushes form the landscape, water resources are rare. In the less famous western part changes nature dramatically, huge forest boarder the Grumeti Rivers towards Lake Vicoria.

Every year between April and July proceed a terrific spectacle. Over a million wildebeest and zebras move 40 km upwards towards the north. One wildebeest behind the other, big Zebra families between – a big feast for the crocodiles in the Grumeti River.
